So guys
I had a really crazy night yesterday! It was halloween, the whole country is going crazy. You can buy everwhere costumes, we had to stand in line to get into a store with halloween costumes on saturday in Manhattan because EVERYONE is dressed up at halloween.
So we bought our costumes, arranged a party in the empire state building. We had everything from a scream-mask to a female soldier, the police-lady, firelady, monkey or a baby on the back of a grandmother (me!).
In Manhattan was everyone dressed up on the street. I've never seen something like that, it was really crazy. It was like a city full of freaks!
Also the city where I live, tarrytown is going crazy at this weekend. There are many houses where you can go in and get scared of people. But here in tarrytown and sleepy hollow it's not just halloween, it's also history. Every house here has pumpkins, puppies are all over the streets.
And tonight is a parade in NYC, a very famous halloween parade. But we're not going there, we're still tired from yesterday :)
On Thursday we went all together to a swiss restaurant in Manhattan, called SWIZZ. We had very deliscious fondue's and raclettes! :) That was pretty cool, I really miss the food from home, 'cause the food here on campus is not that good...
so i hope you're doing well guys! i heard it's very beautiful weather in switzerland! Here in NY it's getting freezing cold now...
And for all those who miss me, i'm coming back for about 10 days in december. it will probably be the 19th to 29th of december.
