Yesterday, a beautiful sunny Sunday in Tarrytown, a friend and me thaught we just take a little walk in the beautiful forest of Tarrytown down to the lake. But, after about 2 hours, it went totally wrong and we got compeletely lost! Fortunately we found the town Sleepy Hollow, which is right next to Tarrytown. So at the end we were walking non-stop for about 4 hours, found dead animals, creepy houses, were almost hit by cars on the dark and non lighted (!!!) roads through the forest and we heard coyotees yelling. What an experience! We were so glad to be back in Tarrytown, sitting at the greek restaurant, eating souvlaki and drinking wine. I was so tired after this day, that i went to bed at 8pm. Thank you so much for the story and the lovely pictures. I loved fall in the north of USA. I have never seen so colourful trees as the maple trees in Vermont. In Singapore the trees are always deeply green. Also nice but on the long term maybe a little boring.
